Dr. Joseph Shen

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Joseph Shen is a physician, scientist, entrepreneur, researcher, inventor/innovator/pioneer of the Multifunction Cardiogram Technology, a.k.a. the MCG system.  He is the World’s first Computational Electrophysiologist, and the founder of “Computational Clinical Electrophysiology” – a new branch of computational biology.

He has dedicated his life since 1997 to the successful development, engineering, and commercialization of MCG technology to solve an intractable problem in modern diagnostic cardiology – the lack of affordable, accurate, and readily accessible non-invasive digital technology tools for the comprehensive detection, quantification, and better systematic understanding of all stages of lifestyle, environment, pulmonary, infectious, hypertensive, and metabolic heart diseases at a fraction of the costs and waiting time demanded by the current state of the art modalities.

Dr. Shen staunchly supports and implements 100% evidence-based practice of medicine, medical research, and treatment innovation with integrity, honesty, objectivity, and transparency.

Raymond L. Weadock

Founder and President

Ray Weadock is a seasoned CEO with a broad 37-year background. He has a unique combination of experience in both startup and Fortune 100 environments, having managed 8 – 18,000 person organizations that have generated revenues from $5M to more than $5B. His diverse technical background includes enterprise software, hardware, networking, security, computer services, mass merchandising and manufacturing environments. He has led or has been instrumental in building six startup companies and re-engineering three turnarounds.

For the past seven years, he has been the Managing General Partner of a consulting firm focusing on emerging to mid-market companies, helping them with strategy, structure and execution. He has worked with Premier Heart for more than five years in developing the market for the MCG as well as working with several other healthcare clients.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas in Finance & Marketing and The Executive Institute at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, he spent most of his career in the Silicon Valley and Boston, and today lives in Florida.

Jerry Nagel

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Nagel is a seasoned CFO with more than 35 years of corporate finance experience. He has a proven track record of success with multiple “start-up” companies that led to Inc 500 recognition. He started his career with 18 years in the Aerospace industry, ascending the management ranks in Corporate finance with roles at Lockheed Martin, Allied Signal, and Aerotron AirPower. He moved into the IT infrastructure industry, and built and sold his own Web Development and Networking company. He is certified in many Microsoft products and has experience in multiple programming languages. After a period in the IT Industry, he became CFO and VP of Sales Operations in the Workers Compensation/Health Care industry.

As a part of his experience as a certified IPEC Executive Coach, he has successfully consulted and led C-Suite executives in growth in Aerospace, Transportation, Financial Services, Valves and Filters Manufacturing, and Commercial Electrical industries.

Jerry graduated with a BSBA in Finance from the University of Central Florida. He obtained his MBA with a minor in Marketing at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. He is a certified behavioral analyst and values analyst additionally he has a certification from IPEC as an Executive coach. In his spare time, in addition to family time, He enjoys sports. Plays Golf and Tennis, and is an instrument-rated private pilot.

Norbert Rainford, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Norbert W. Rainford, M.D. is a clinical cardiologist who has enjoyed fulfilling careers in both administrative and clinical medicine.

Dr. Rainford has extensive experience in regulatory medicine and payment issues. He was a Carrier Medical Director at Empire Medicare Services, New York (now WellPoint’s National Government Services), for more than 11 years. His tenure ended in January 2007. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Medical Director, Medical Policy, Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Corporate Division for more than 14 years.

Dr. Rainford’s varied experience includes data analysis of the utilization of Medicare services, research and formulation of Local Coverage Determinations (local policies), the development of coverage guidelines and the interpretation of national CMS and statutory directives for local application. He has served as chair of the Cardiology Work Group of carrier medical directors, advising CMS on topical and emerging cardiology issues. He has authored several policies that were adopted by the American College of Cardiology in the formulation of national template policies.

Following his tenure in administrative medicine, Dr. Rainford has increased his activity in diagnostic cardiology in New City , New York and directs Columbia University’s Center for Interventional Vascular Therapy outreach office in Rockland County, New York. He has a strong interest in the application of emerging technology to the delivery of clinical medicine, a critical link in forging more efficient access to care. However, his passion has always been wellness and preventive medicine, with a special interest in the converging fields of hypertension, lipidology, obesity, anti-inflammation medicine and systems biology.

Dr. Rainford is a graduate of Columbia University (B.A.), and New York University, School of Medicine (M.D.). He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Columbia University (Cardiology); a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians and a member of the Association of Black Cardiologists.
